How to Cope With Effects of Frustration

A feeling of little annoyance that someday becomes a giant of frustration, which anyone can encounter in their lives, we get frustrated when things are not going in the way we want and hope, when we face frequent failures and a goal become hard to achieve or when lingering expectations we were having from others fails. Our frustration leads us to restlessness, anger, depression and broken hearts.

These are the possible effects of frustration.

Anger

A person who is frustrated shows his feelings with anger. A saying goes like this, “Frustration begets anger and anger begets aggression.” People who face frustration become angry and their anger becomes the aggression they show in their behaviors.

Stress

The level of stress and anxiety becomes higher in the frustrated people. They see the whole word hopelessly and every goal seems to be hard to achieve. Stress prevents them to take things easy.

Depression

The failure and sometimes fear of failure give birth to the depression. The people who easily take things on their nerves get depressed when they confront frustration over problem.

Loss of self-confidence

There is a chance that you might end up losing confidence on yourself when you face continual failing while doing a task.

Giving up

To give up is never a good choice; one shouldn’t give up a goal unless it is something truly impossible to do.

Hope is a like a tree full leaves that won’t let the sun burn you, keep the hope alive in your heart so you can deal with whatever difficulties comes between you and your destination.

From the experiences it is been said that “Expectations leads to disappointment” and frustration comes from unmet expectations, well nothing is wrong with the statement given. In the end the mountain of expectations burst out like a volcano.

Stay focused and clear minded

Frustration may make you lose your mind and completely divert your focus from your goals. In that crucial time you need to stay focused and clear headed about your goals and that’s not something impossible to do just think how much you desire to reach at your destination.

There are side effects of Frustration, but without it your success is not ensured. You only gain something when you are enduring some pain for it, there is no gain without pain.
