Ideas if you are Unhappy how to Change your Mood

Life is mix of so many emotions, but the best part is you can control each emotion and be how you want to be, though it can be tough sometime but still “Possible”. “Happiness depends upon us.” – Aristotle. We all have different means of happiness but there are some common things that make all of us feel happy and contented, that are LOVE, COURTESY and GRATITUDE. “Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude.” – Denis Waitley

Live in the moment

The most worthless reason of unhappiness is being sad for holding the past, any sorrowful memory that make you feel the agony. First, let go of the past and start living in the moment. “Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.” – Omar Khayyam. You can be truly happy only when you learn to live in the moment. “True happiness is… to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future.” – Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Count the blessings

When you feel sad or hopeless, turn to a good page of life where you are so blessed to breathe, to eat, to walk, to speak liberally, to be educated, to be able to read right now. There must be things out of your reach but you are still better than other half of the world. “It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness.” – Charles Spurgeon

Spread Love

A happy person is who is loved. Love makes us feel a secure feeling. Spend time with people you love and that’s all you need. “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.” – George Sand

It is scientifically proved that physical contact with the people you love makes you feel happy. “A hug is like a boomerang – you get it back right away.” – Bil Keane

100 hours a year

Help someone, give a hand to make difference; it will take all your sadness and nothing else. Researchers explains that people who spend 100 hours every year in helping someone i.e., in volunteering were more happy and stress free than people who didn’t. “Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more.” – H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

Take care of yourself

Go for a walk, doll up yourself or do something for yourself, this will make you feel less burdened and heavyhearted. “Our greatest happiness does not depend on the condition of life in which chance has placed us, but is always the result of a good conscience, good health, occupation, and freedom in all just pursuits.” – Thomas Jefferson

Shower kindness

Kindness doesn’t just relieve you but it also go a long way. Be kind to someone you feel needs compassion and love, and anyone who require it the most, you will witness magic. “Try to make at least one person happy every day. If you cannot do a kind deed, speak a kind word. If you cannot speak a kind word, think a kind thought. Count up, if you can, the treasure of happiness that you would dispense in a week, in a year, in a lifetime!” – Lawrence G. Lovasik

Do something you Loveee!

“A table, a chair, a bowl of fruit and a violin; what else does a man need to be happy?” – Albert Einstein. How beautifully Einstein says it, to be happy you only need things to do something you love. I paint, or sleep whenever I feel sad, what do you do?

Be grateful, life could be worse!

For all the unappreciated things, for all for granted blessings, be thankful today because you could have done nothing if you were not blessed. “Everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and I learn whatever state I may be in, therein to be content.” – Helen Keller
