Love more

Love looks through a telescope; envy, through a microscope. –Josh Billings

The fact is the one who is envy can’t be in love with anyone. “Drop jealousy and envy, for they make you ugly. Be loving, be accepting & most of all… be happy just the way you are.” – Leon Brown

Love yourself

Envying makes one unhappy, put his heart on fire that makes him burn and it all doesn’t make a pea size effect on the person your envious of, so ask yourself are you that useless to waste yourself like this? The answer should be NO. “Pride, envy, avarice – these are the sparks have set on fire the hearts of all men.” –Dante Alighieri

Stop the Comparisons

The main source of enviousness is “Comparison”, you start feeling envious when you are compare yourself with someone who have achieved something you wanted to achieve. Comparisons only make people unhappy when they compare yourself with people who are more advantaged than you, if you compare yourself with people less advantaged you will be thankful for what you have. “Instead of comparing our lot with that of those who are more fortunate than we are, we should compare it with the lot of the great majority of our fellow men. It then appears that we are among the privileged.” Helen Keller

Learn to appreciate and be happy for others

If you learn to appreciate with your whole heart and to be truly happy for others you will be less envious and that will make you happy for yourself as well.

No one is perfectly happy

“Envy is ignorance.”Ralph Waldo Emerson

It may appear like they have it all, a lavishing home a car you love, good faces and all the smiles on them, however there are always two sides of a coin and no one have a perfectly successful and happy life. So don’t put too much pressure on your heart and live happily with what you have without comparing.

Be thankful

When you start to envy others you forget about what you possess and how much blessed you are. Instead of being envious look at your own accomplishments, your loved ones, and your life and be happy for it.

Don’t sacrifice your own peace

Nothing in this world is worth taking your peace away. “Five enemies of peace inhabit with us – avarice, ambition, envy, anger, and pride; if these were to be banished, we should infallibly enjoy perpetual peace.” Petrarch

Get Inspired

Rather than resenting others get inspiration from them, learn from them and word as hard as they do.
