Lemongrass essential oil is extracted from dried lemongrass through the process of steam distillation. The constituents of this oil are Myrcene, Citronellal, Geranyl Acetate, Nerol, Geraniol, Neral, Limonene and Citral. Lemongrass oil contains anti-fungal, insecticidal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is a rich source of essential vitamins such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Folate and Vitamin C.
