Anemia is when there are fewer red blood cells in your body. Anemia sometimes may be an indication of some serious diseases, but not always. In order to bring into your knowledge the causes and the consequences that can take place in future, you must get yourself checked by some good physician and make sure that you are not suffering from hemolytic anemia, sick cell anemia or sideroblastic anemia. These types of anemia can only be treated through proper medical invention. And if everything is alright but you are diagnosed with anemia then this deficiency can be treated with nutrition. Anemia indicates the deficiency of iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid. Low count of red blood cells leads to the difficulty in carrying oxygen to various parts of the body and a risk to your health. Supply your blood with sufficient essential nutrients so that you may overcome this disorder and enjoy a healthy life.

Here are some remedies which are helpful in curing anemia by producing more red blood cells in your body:

Blackstrap Molasses

Blackstrap molasses help in curing anemia. It is loaded with iron and other essential nutrients which are effective remedy for anemia treatment.

Raisins, prunes and dates

All these ingredients improve the amount of red blood cells in your body. They are a rich source of iron. Soak them in water at night and take in the morning with warm milk.

Milk

Milk is good for overall health as it contains iron, potassium, calcium, vitamin D and other crucial nutrients. This is good for the deficiency of red blood cells in your body. Add 5-7 pepper balls in a glass of milk and boil it in an iron pot before drinking.

Almonds

If you want to get rid of anemia, almonds are a good option. Soak 5-7 almonds in water before going to bed and eat them in the morning after peeling the skin.

Banana

Banana is an excellent natural remedy to produce red blood cells in the body. Take a ripe banana and mash it with 2 tablespoon of honey. Eat it every day.

Figs

Figs are also a great source if iron and help in producing hemoglobin in your blood. Eat 3-4 figs daily. You can also consume them after soaking in water for whole night. Eating them early in the morning increases the benefit.

Yellow dock root

Using yellow dock roots help a lot in curing the problem of anemia. Take one teaspoon of the tincture yellow dock root three times a day to get desired results.

Beetroot

Beetroots are rich in iron. They are among the best iron rich vegetables on the earth. You can extract their juice or eat it as salad. You can also use its juice  by mixing with some other juice, such as carrot, apple or spinach juice.

Honey

Honey has countless benefits for your health. It is one of the excellent remedies for anemia. Add lemon extract of a lemon and apple cider vinegar in one tablespoon of honey and eat daily. It increases the number of red blood cells in your body and provides your body with copper, manganese and iron.

Apple

It is a very famous proverb “an apple a day, keeps the doctor away”. Apple is rich in various nutrients and help in increasing hemoglobin in your body. Eating 2-3 apples a day can provide you with enough amount of iron to meet the requirement of the whole day.
